Heather is a hometown girl, having graduated from Holt High School in 2003. In 2007, Heather graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from Ferris State University and graduated from Blue Heron Academy in 2009 with a Certificate in Medical Massage Therapy. Heather started Advance Medical Massage in 2010 with her drive to provide the highest quality massage care possible to her clients. Her massage specialties include, but are not limited to, medical, deep tissue, relaxation/Swedish, hot and cold stone therapy, pregnancy and infant, trigger point therapy, and sport. Heather married her high school sweetheart, Sean Hanton, and has two very energetic little boys Callen and Tavin. Heather currently resides in Dimondale, MI.
Aja has been practicing massage therapy since 2003. She trained at Baker College in a 1,100 hour program. The style of bodywork that Aja practice incorporates Swedish massage, active stretching, and deep therapeutic work, which reduces scar tissue caused by injuries. Aja specialize in working with people of all ages who are athletic and or suffer from various types of tension and pain problems. Aja is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Aja continues to expand her knowledge, experience and expertise in bodywork to enhance her skills to better serve her clients. Aja firmly believe the body has the miraculous power to heal itself, and therapeutic massage can help guide your body in the right direction of self healing.
Lino graduated Lansing Community College with his license in Therapeutic Massage and went to MSU for a BA in Studio Arts. He also blows glass for a living. You can find picture of his work at instagram.com/theflamingboxman some items available in out lobby for sale.
Brianna graduated in 2014 from Lansing Community Colleges Massage Therapy program. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and in Late 2014 finished her training at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan for Oncology, Hospital, and Hospice Massage. Brianna joined the Advance Medical Massage team in August of 2016.
Corey recieved his massage therapy training at Lansing Community College in 1998 and re-entered the profession to study Reflexology 2 years ago to help find solutions foe his own chronic pain issues. Deep Relaxation, pain relief, and improving conditions like plantar fasciitis are unexpected benefits from this therapist who spends hi winters as a wrestling coach.
Cole completed LCC’s Massage Therapy Program in 2017. He practices Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, And Reiki. Through a blend of intuition and reason, He aids others in reaching a more wholesome state of health.
Having grown up in Istanbul, Turkey, Sophia moved to Chicago in 2003. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology in 2007, before spending several years working in the nonprofit sector with issues of human rights and nonviolence. In 2015 she pursued her passion for Massage Therapy, and graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. After working for nearly 2 years as a Massage Therapist in a Chiropractic setting in Chicago, Sophia and her family decided to relocate to Lansing, where she joined the team at Advance Medical Massage. Sophia uses Thai bodywork combined with Western clinical techniques to provide each client with a deeply therapeutic massage. She greatly enjoys helping others realize the health and quality of life they are trying to achieve.
Amy graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy and is certified in Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Sports Massage. Amy is trained in Pregnancy, Pediatric, and Geriatric Massage. she is currently studying the Myoskeletal Alignment technique. Before learning massage she worked as a surgical tech in the local hospitals, giving her an internal view and visual advantage. That said , she loves nothing more than the idea is a nice relaxing massage, but she has discovered that over time her technique tends to lean towards a more clinical nature.
